Mark this Crossover event as simply delicious

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KT) – Of all the Crossover events leading up to the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s Annual Meeting on Nov. 12, this one may be the sweetest – in a lot of different ways.

Women are invited to get jumpstarted into the holiday season with some made-from-scratch meals and simple decorating ideas in the Holiday Eats and Treats at The Campbell House on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There’s a lot on the, uh, plate for this event that will include demonstrations and speaking from four women who know their stuff.

Amy Hannon, author of Love. Welcome. Serve. Will have a food demonstration along with some breakout sessions including tasty appetizers, quick and easy sides, amazing desserts and inexpensive but tastefully done holiday decorating.

It also comes with a plated lunch featuring one of Amy’s famous chicken pot pies.

What could be better? Well, there’s more!

Along with great food and conversation, an encouraging holiday message will be shared by Demica Jones. Register now and invite your friends to come along!

The Kentucky Baptist Convention is hosting this event in partnership with Porter Memorial Baptist Church and Central Kentucky Network of Baptists.

Here is a look at the presenters for this yummy event.

Amy is the heart behind an expansive hospitality brand. She owns Euna Mae’s, a one-of-a-kind kitchen shop and studio that is a special place to locals and has become a destination for many near and far.

In addition to her brick–and–mortar, Amy is the heart of a broad media platform that has included a daily cooking show on Northwest Arkansas’ NBC affiliate, a food blog, a cookbook, partnerships with national brands, and an engaging social media.

She uses every opportunity — whether hosting events, speaking to groups, visiting inside her store, in her book or on social media — to share a message of simple, authentic hospitality. Amy’s infectious personality and love for the table is inspiring households from coast to coast to embrace her Love Welcome Serve ™ message of intentional kitchening.

Demica is a wife, mother, homemaker, educator, speaker, and a follower of Jesus Christ. She is a native of Louisville and graduated from Kentucky State University. A former public school teacher, she now serves as a full-time homemaker and intentional and purposeful parent. She is an active member of their local church and serves in various capacities at her church and in the community.

Angela not only has spent many years serving her husband and children in the kitchen, but she has fed thousands in her personal catering business. Her food is melt-in-your mouth delicious and she is well known for her incredibly tasty desserts.

Laura serves on staff at a local church in Lexington, Kentucky wherein she serves as Hospitality Coordinator. She also wears the hat of pastor's assistant, event planner, and facility scheduler. Vicki is married to her husband Bill and they have 3 married children and two precious grandchildren. When the family gathers at their table you can be sure that bellies are filled and laughter is plenty. She is also hosts a weekly
