BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — A Kentucky man has been arrested in the fatal shooting of two men in a restaurant parking lot, police said.
The shooting occurred at an O'Charley's restaurant in Warren County on Friday night, Bowling Green police said in a statement posted on Facebook.
Police announced Saturday that Terry A. Stice II, 44, of Bowling Green, was charged with two counts of attempted murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Stice was being held Sunday in the Warren County Regional Jail.
It wasn't immediately known whether he has an attorney.
Police identified the victims as Elijsha Taylor, 21, and Michael Russell, 40. Their hometowns were not released.
The statement said detectives determined Taylor and Russell were involved in a physical altercation and that Taylor shot Russell. Stice then allegedly fired numerous rounds at Taylor, killing him.
A vehicle then struck Stice and fled the scene. Stice allegedly shot at the vehicle as it was leaving the parking lot, the statement said.
Police said in a separate statement that the shootings are believed to be related to a long-standing dispute between the victims and suspect.
