Bowling Green wins consolation game in Little League World Series


SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (KT) – Bowling Green East All-Stars defeated Australia 4-1 in a consolation game to close out their tournament appearance in the Little League World Series.

Chaze Huff threw a complete game for the Great Lakes Region champion and the offense, held to a pair of hits in back-to-back losses, scored three times in the second inning to take command.

Bowling Green fell 2-1 to Coon Rapids, Minn., and 6-1 to Barrington, R.I. It was the Little League program’s third trip to the Little League World Series since 2015.
